San Clemente Sunlight

Painted en plein air on the beach in San Clemente during brutal winter temperatures of 68 degrees, and breezes off the ocean at 2 miles per hour. Loved the sound of the waves as I painted this, and talking with a few San Clemente residents that have lived in the city for decades, and who also appreciate this temperate climate. 2 long sessions on site (I needed to attach handles to carry the panel), and 2 shorter sessions in the studio to bring the design to completion. It wasn't easy, but it was work I enjoy doing.
