San Clemente Winter

Painted en plein air over three sessions, and one in the studio. The set up was near Tower 5 and in its shade, just north of the riviera District.

I must have talked to half of the population of San Clemente while I was out there. Beautiful days consecutively, incredible for the month of January anywhere! I had so much fun doing this: the painting is about the heart and spirit of life in this beautiful beachside community.
